  • Synthesis and characterization of graphenes obtained by chemical method and their application for electrochemical capacitors and sensors; synthesis and characterization of carbon nanofibers and nanotubes by catalytic deposition of carbon from the gas phase; preparation of activated carbons from coals, lignocellulosic precursors and polymers, and their application for water treatment, electrochemical energy storage, gas storage and as catalyst supports.
